NameDaisy is the personal project of a girl with a passion for artistic expression through data and code, and a special interest in what other people choose to name their babies.

It was a lot of fun to make, and I really hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it.

Data Sources

Name popularity data comes from the US Social Security Administration, which publishes baby name frequency data going back to 1880. The SSA only includes names with at least 5 occurrences in a given year to protect privacy.

Name origin and usage data comes from behindthename.com.
